to improve the breed, not to make money.
We put a lot of money into our dogs.

Dog Food $6,000.00 (chicken, eggs, supplements)

(shampoo, flea preventative, micro-chips, etc,)
Housing $3,000.00 ( dog houses, kennels, straw,
wood chips, tarps)
Vet $5,000.00
(ear crops, hip test, rabies, health checks, misc.)
Dog Shows $3,500.00 (memberships, show fees, hotels, gas, tolls, etc.)
Advertising $3,000.00 (Web Page, business cards, magazine ads, etc.)
Equipment $4,000.00 (leashes, collars, bowls, training, etc.)
We have estimated that the cost to whelp an average size litter (9 puppies) is equal to the
cost of one puppy.
Total approximately $28,000.00 + per year
